Can the animals be held?

No. For the safety of the animals and audience, only The Reptile Nook staff are permitted to hold the animals. The only exception to this is with the Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.

Can the animals be pet?

Some animals can be pet during programs. Whether this is allowed varies based on the animal's mood. The Reptile Nook reserves the right to change the rules on petting at any time during a program. We do ask that adults refrain from letting children who put hands in their mouths from our petting animals. Animals that are always no-touch noted on the animal pages.

Can I choose which animals come to my program?

You can select which animals we bring to your program if you book an Animal Talk or a Table Program with 6 or 10 animals. Our other program styles have set animals that we bring to best fit the theme of the program you are booking.​
